Eligibility Criteria:
Educational Qualification:
1. Staff Nurse | DGNM OR B.Sc Nursing |
2. Social Worker (Psychiatric Social Worker) | A person having a post-graduate degree in Social Work or Master of Philosophy in Psychiatric Social Work obtained after completion of a full time course of two years which includes supervised clinical training from any University Accredited by the University Grants Commission established under the UGC Act, 1956 or such recognized qualifications, as may be prescribed. |
3. Psychologist (Clinical Psychologist) – | A person (i) having a recognized qualification in Clinical Psychology from an institution approved and Accredited, by the Rehabilitation Council of India, constituted under section 3 of the Rehabilitation Council of India Act, 1992; (or) (ii) having a Post-Graduate degree in Psychology or Clinical Psychology or Applied Psychology or Master of Philosophy in Clinical Psychology or Medical and Social Psychology obtained after completion of a full time course of two years which includes supervised clinical training from any University recognized by the University Grants Commission established under the UGC Act, 1956 and approved and Accredited by the Rehabilitation Council of India Act, 1992 or such recognized qualifications as may be prescribed. |
4. Vaccine Cold Chain Manager | BE or B.Tech in Computer Science or IT with one year Experience in Data Base Management System admin. |

About the Employer
The Greater Chennai Corporation (GCC) is the civic body that governs the city of Chennai in Tamil Nadu, India.1 It holds the distinction of being the oldest municipal corporation in India and one of the oldest in the Commonwealth of Nations outside of the United Kingdom.2
History
Establishment: The Corporation was founded on September 29, 1688, by a Royal Charter issued by King James II of England.3 It was created on the advice of Sir Josiah Child, a director of the East India Company, who modeled it after the Dutch government in the East Indies.4
Early Powers: Initially, the Corporation was given powers to handle petty cases, levy taxes for building schools, a town hall, and a jail.5
Evolution: Over the centuries, its powers and constitution have evolved through various acts, most notably the Madras Municipal Corporation Act of 1919, which provides the basic statutory authority for its current administration.6
Headquarters: The Corporation moved its offices to the iconic Ripon Buildings in 1913, named after Lord Ripon, the Viceroy of India who introduced local self-government.7
Modern Structure: The GCC is headed by a Mayor and a council of 200 councillors, each representing a ward.8 The executive wing is led by a Commissioner, an IAS officer appointed by the state government.9
Functions and Responsibilities
The Greater Chennai Corporation is responsible for a wide range of civic services and urban development functions, which include:

Administrative Structure
The GCC is divided into:
3 Regions: North, Central, and South.17
